Erika Pool - Program Director

E.Pool@wingsats.com

With over a decade of experience in residential and community-based mental health settings, I have dedicated my career to helping adolescents heal and rediscover hope for their futures. Much of my work has focused on supporting youth involved in the legal system who have experienced significant trauma and exhibit harmful or maladaptive behaviors. I am deeply passionate about working with individuals whom others may have given up on—helping them rebuild self-worth and find a renewed sense of purpose lies at the heart of my work.
Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of residential environments, including secure, non-secure, and psychiatric settings. I believe that genuine healing happens within the context of connection—that safety, trust, and authentic relationships form the foundation for growth and change. Whether working directly with youth, families, or teams, I strive to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and understood.
I am particularly passionate about family systems work, recognizing that sustainable change occurs when every part of the system engages in the healing process. My leadership philosophy reflects this same belief: I lead with empathy, collaboration, and accountability, encouraging both staff and clients to find strength through connection and community.
In addition to my clinical work, I have partnered with Child Protective Services (CPS), providing parent education, supervised visitation, and family counseling. These collaborations have deepened my conviction that relationships—whether within families, teams, or communities—are the driving force behind meaningful transformation.
